TL;DR: As of Feb. 27, Amazon has select Yeti drinkware on sale for up to 38% off.

You heard it here first, folks: Our collective dependence on single-use plastic water bottles is *extremely* dumb. The world goes through roughly one million of those things every minute, and given the fact that less than nine percent of them get recycled after their contents have been sipped away, well, no one should be surprised that a gigantic floating garbage island is currently cruising its way around the Pacific Ocean — we did this to ourselves.

With World Water Day coming up in a couple of weeks (Mar. 22), there's really no better time to invest in a reusable bottle that curbs your personal single-use plastic use. (Yes, the oil and gas industries are the real villians here, but us little guys can make a difference in the fight for a healthier planet if we all do better collectively.)

We covered a sale Yeti was having on some of its bottles earlier this month, but if you missed it, fret not: This week, Amazon is continuing those savings with discounts of up to 38% on products from Yeti's Rambler line, which features drinkware made from extra-durable, BPA-free, dishwasher-safe stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation — that way, your hot drinks stay hot, your cold drinks stay cold, and your hands don't get covered in condensation.

Here's what's up for grabs:

Our favorite reusable water bottle on the market, the standard Yeti Rambler is a heavy-duty bottle that comes with a leakproof TripleHaul Cap and sports a crack-, fade-, and peel-resistant DuraCoat Color finish. You can take your pick from three different sizes, all of which are currently listed at 25% off:

Yeti Rambler Colster — save 38%

Aluminum cans are just as bad as plastic water bottles in terms of their production processes' impact on natural resources, but since cans are recycled at a much higher rate, they're arguably a better option.

If you grab one of Yeti's Rambler Colsters, you can keep your favorite canned beer, soda, juice, tea, coffee, or energy drink chilled longer. (It fits any standard 12 oz. can.) Each unit features a twist-off Load-and-Lock Gasket that keeps your beverage in place to prevent spills, and comes with that same tough DuraCoat coating in your choice of several hues.

Get one here for just $18.74, or 38% off Yeti's suggested retail price of $29.99 (an $11.25 savings).
