Well that's awkward.

Ben Stiller has a bone to pick with Jimmy Fallon.

Appearing on The Tonight Show in the clip above, the Severance director talks about his recent trip to the theatre with Fallon to watch Cole Escola's Oh Mary, where the pair apparently had a lovely time together.

"I felt like we had a connection, and then a few days later, you know, you kind of ghosted me," Stiller says. "A little bit. I just didn't really hear from you, and it just felt a little icky, you know? I felt like you got what you wanted a little bit, you had your arm candy at the show [...] it just felt a little bit like wham, bam, thank you Ben Stiller."

Fallon denies the ghosting accusations and talks Severance, but even that topic isn't safe.

"He goes to work and when he comes back, he forgets everything that happened," says Stiller, summarising the show's main hook. "Kind of like when you and I went to the play the other night."
